...Begins with a Single Step.
Well I never thought I would be blogging, but while downtown in New Orleans tonight I had this sudden urge to share my story with people.
Being down here this summer has been an amazing journey so far and has opened me up to so many new experiences. Tonight I had my palm and cards read by a card reader 70 years in the making. I must say I was a little skeptical at first, but in the end I am happy I spent the money on it. Sometimes it takes another's words for you to truly realize the person you are meant to be. As cliche as that sounds, hearing a woman well in to her 80's explain all my life has to offer was somewhat exhilarating. As the card reader said tonight "you are meant for something big" and "your love will affect others." I think I believe her. I am so excited for these upcoming 5 years to see how I can use my talents and abilities to affect the lives of others for the better.
I still may be just a little skeptical of tonight's experience, but I hope this woman was right. I'm not sure that all of these things she said will come true, but I will try as hard as I can to make them a reality. And to tell the truth, I cannot wait for the journey, whatever it may be, that is ahead of me.
